Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician and Chief Resident Dr. Owaid served as physician in the distinguished program which is a medical school based, academic program that provides training on all aspects of emergency medical care. Dr. Owaid received exceptional exposure and proficient training at SUNY Downstate/Kings County where he acquired unparalleled experience in emergency medicine, critical care, and trauma resuscitation. He gained exposure to clinical pathology and evidence-based medicine in an acute setting where he cultivated his leadership potential, and served as Chief Resident from 1987 through 1988.
